🎶 He SINGS! 🎶

 Charles is taking a Choir Class at BYU Idaho and since he's so far away we don't get to attend his concert in person. But luckily technology gives us the ability to watch from home. He had 2 concerts in February. The first wasn't a concert, but this choir sang at the BYUI devotional on February 3rd. 



Then on Valentine's Day his choir participated in a music festival. He did great in both! We are so proud of him and his willingness to share is talent and do something he loves.

Newport Temple as a WHOLE Family!

 It feels like we have been waiting for this day F-O-R-E-V-E-R.  Finally all 7 of us got to be in the temple together.  We made sure to schedule Jillian's temple recommend interview early enough for her to get her temple recommend on January 1st. And we scheduled an appointment at the Newport Temple for January 2nd (before the college kids went back to Idaho) It was a Glorious Day!!! It's hard to go to the Newport Beach temple and not make a trip to see the ocean. It brings peace to my soul. Luckily were we a bit early for our temple appointment so we were able to see the ocean and take a quick photo.  It was a very special night being in The House of the Lord with my eternal family.

Happy New Year!!!! 2025

 Wow! How did we get to 2-0-2-5.  We started our New Year's Eve celebration with some of our favorite people. The Burkes, the Gibson's, Grandma Garthe, and the Laurel and West Lakey. We had a great time playing several games.  At Midnight we rang in the New Year with some poppers and noise makers. (We totally forgot about the Sparkling Cider. ooops!)
